Yolanda Johnson

Yolanda has dedicated her career to advocating for those most vulnerable to injustice. She is a proud graduate of Bowie State University and holds a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Nyack College. Yolanda’s expertise is supported by a lengthy career in vocational education, juvenile justice, and nonprofit program development. She is called upon to facilitate community education events, professional development training, and DEI strategy building.

Yolanda is directly responsible for scaling a national civic and legal education program for vulnerable populations, including survivors of trafficking and domestic violence. Yolanda was awarded the 2023 Top Ten Business Woman award from the American Business Women’s Association for career and community contributions. She enjoys traveling, time with family, cooking, or reading with a hot cup of dirty chai tea.
