Jeffrey Armiger

Retired Banker & Non-profit leader

Jeff recently retired as the BB&T/Truist Bank Market President for Howard and A.A. counties, where he led banking teams specializing in raising capital for complex, high growth companies.

His non-profit career was inspired by a very supportive corporate philosophy to improve our communities, and a highly influential experience with Leadership Anne Arundel in the 90s. Jeff has leadership experience in Economic Development, Community Development, Chamber Development, Research Park Development, Environmental Stewardship, and Health Care.

He currently serves on the Board of University of Maryland Medical System, and has served on an UMMS member Hospital Board (UMBWMC) for over 15 years. Jeff also serves as Treasurer of UMBC Research Park Corporation, which co-develops and manages Class A office space adjacent to the UMBC campus, for applied science users collaborating with the University.

His UMMS experience gave Jeff a powerful appreciation for the needs of vulnerable populations, and he is strongly committed to the mission of Change the Conversation.

Jeff is a graduate of UMBC, University of Baltimore, and John’s Hopkins University, and holds degrees in English, Business/Marketing, and Real Estate. He lives in Severna Park with his fiancé and their beloved lab.
