Amber Crawford-Wagman

Executive Director of Turning Point

Amber Crawford-Wagman received a Bachelor of Social Work degree from LaSalle University and a Master of Social Work degree from The University of Pennsylvania. She is a licensed social worker in the state of Pennsylvania and has 17+ years experience working with trauma survivors, with certifications in both Prolonged Exposure & Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT). Previously, Amber worked as a therapist at Women Organized Against Rape in Philadelphia, providing trauma counseling to children and adults as well as training numerous populations from preschoolers to college students, to the Philadelphia Police Force and local hospital staff on sexual and family violence. Amber has been with Turning Point since 2014, counseling adult and child survivors of childhood sexual abuse. In 2019 Amber became the Clinical Director and in 2020 began serving as the Executive Director. She also currently serves on the York County Sexual and Domestic Violence Taskforce, as well as the Behavioral Health Workgroup, which is a subgroup of the Human Trafficking Task Force. She is a guest lecturer at Penn State Harrisburg in their Criminal Justice Program and an expert witness on Sexual Violence for the York County District Attorney’s Office.
