Senior Curriculum and Training Specialist

Brittany serves as the Senior Curriculum and Training Specialist at Change the Conversation, bringing over 15 years of experience in public education and a deep commitment to the power of prevention through education. Her work has spanned the classroom, curriculum development, and systems-level leadership, always centered on building trust with young people, educators, families, and the broader community.

Brittany began her career as a middle school health education teacher before stepping into a curriculum specialist role supporting PreK–12 Health and Physical Education. In that capacity, she led curriculum revision and development initiatives and provided specialized professional development for educators on topics including skills-based health education, safety and violence prevention, family life and human sexuality instruction, and trauma-informed teaching practices. Most recently, she has led a team of teachers in revising existing curricula and developing new courses aligned with updated Maryland State Department of Education standards for health and physical education.

Brittany holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and a Master of Arts in Teaching in Health Education, an Administrator I Certificate, and has completed a Post Master’s +60 program focused on improving the health and wellness of students and staff.
