We’ve got the makings for one perfect Saturday happy hour event!

On Saturday, October 24th, join us from your own home for a German-inspired culinary experience and in-home flight tour to benefit No More Stolen Childhoods. We’ve been hard at work with local partners and sponsors to bring together a safe and fun evening, and we’re excited to share what’s in store!

Chef Amy von Lange of Baltimore favorite, Schola Cooking School, will be live on Zoom from her teaching kitchen to guide us through a series of shared plates inspired by a traditional Octoberfest menu. While following along, you’ll have the pleasure of working with many local ingredients sourced by Rooster + Hen Family Grocer. Libations not to be neglected, we will be joined by a Beer Maestro discussing their craft and the selection of seasonal Maryland beers included in each ticket. This will include labels from local Waverly Brewing, Key Brewing, and others.

Tickets are sold in pairs and will include everything two people need for this virtual experience: groceries, recipe cards, beer, a tasting mat, and your personal log-in to the event. Curbside pickup of meal kits will be available on Friday, October 23rd at the Mount Washington Mill offices of NMSC. For orders of 5 or more tickets (10 attendees) interested in delivery, please reach out to us.

No More Stolen Childhoods is committed to changing the public perception of childhood sexual abuse and to helping those who have been abused on their path to healing. We are additionally dedicated to continuing — and increasing — our efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic, when vulnerable children have only become more so. We hope you will join us in bringing in the Autumn season, connecting with others, and supporting this vital work for our community and state.
